What’s better than Halloween season? A Disney-themed Halloween season!
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays because it gives you a chance to dress up and have fun!! You can let your creativity shine with unique homemade outfits that you design or you can buy the perfect costume that fits you to the T! If you know me, you know I love Disney – so every Halloween I love seeing the unique DIY Disney Halloween Costume Ideas for Adults!

1 – Winnie the Pooh
This was such a simple DIY Disney Halloween Costume that is easy to make at home. My parents and I dressed up as Pooh, Piglet, and Tiger from Winnie The Pooh! We used 3 plain shirts and painted on them to make the characters come to life! We added ears and ta-da .. we are now from the Hundred Acre Woods!
This Winnie The Pooh DIY Disney Halloween costume was cheap and quick to make! Plus, you can always add Eeyore or Christopher Robin for larger groups

2 – Monsters Inc
Mike Wasowski from Monsters Inc. is an adorable DIY Disney Costume Idea that is so easy to make! Below, see how two girls made their costume! I personally would paint the eye and mouth directly onto the lime green shirt with black/white/blue paint, but these ladies each did something different!
Hannah Bonilla (@hannahbdisney) says she made the eye with felt, and the tutu by tying tulle around elastic!
Jennifer Henry also dressed up as Mike and her friend dressed up as Sully! She said it was kind of last minute, so she made the Mike T-shirt just out of poster board/paint and then glued it to the shirt. It actually held up in the rain, surprisingly.

4 – Alice in Wonderland
Alice in Wonderland is one of my personal favorite movies. There are so many iconic characters that you can dress up as for Halloween! Jenna Urben and her friends went all out! See her info below:
I was the Queen of Hearts and my friends were Alice and The Mad Hatter (both pictured). We also had Cheshire Cat, Rabbit, and Tweedledee/Tweedledum (not pictured). I wore a red corset with black sleeves, fun striped high socks with hearts, and a DIY tulle skirt! Ohh also painted my black crown with red nail polish and made a staff with a Styrofoam heart.

5 – Haunted Mansion Ride
One of the most classic rides in Walt Disney World is the Haunted Mansion. Cassidy Lester (@catcity_betch) and her friends dressed as the animatronic ghosts from the ride and totally nailed it! This is a great group costume idea because you can have anywhere from number of people – there’s room for 1000 happy haunts!
PS: “Peppers Ghost” is the effect that allows riders to view the animatronics as ghosts

6 – Zenon
Zenon is a classic and its so fun to dress up in a galactic way! Everything is bright neon, shiny, and colorful!
Mandy Mac Lean and Ariella Ben-Nehemiya bought the metallic leotards on amazon and dyed the vests and skirts at home. Then they used transfer paper to make the Zenon “Z” and accessories and the belt was sequin trim.
Rian Beckham also dressed up as Zenon and Protozoa! I love the bright neon colors and metallics they used to make their costumes come to life!

8 – Wreck it Ralph
Wreck it Ralph is a newer Disney movie that makes for a great costume! Holly Henderson (@holhend) and her wife dressed up as Wreck it Ralph and Fix It Felix – it which was such a big hit!! This is the details she gave for her costume:
We bought most of the costume from random places like eBay, Amazon and Etsy. The overalls were the hardest part cause they had to be dyed that very specific color and sew on buttons. Ralph’s big fists were from the Disney store and the medal was homemade

9 – Toy Story Aliens
Toy Story is a Disney Classic with so many different characters to dress as for Halloween! Catie Phillips and her friends dressed as matching Toy Story Aliens! This idea is so simple and SO CUTE! Plus, this costume is super comfy which is a total win in my book.

10 – Parent Trap
Need an ICONIC Halloween costume idea that is relatively easy? Look no further! You can dress up as Halle and Annie from the Parent Trap!
Lindsay DiPonzio (@lindsaydiponzio) and Elizabeth Centanni have always been told they look like twins (and have fooled people into it on multiple occasions). So they took advantage of it! The girls dressed as Halle and Annie from the Parent Trap! They bought plane white shirts and used green paint to paint the shirt details! To complete the look, they bought lockets 2 for $12 off amazon, and printed the classic photo for $1.25.
“Two costumes for under $25 and we got fifteen mins of fame that night. It was my most liked Instagram photo of all time and Cast members told us they had “seen us online during their last break” and took pics with us.
So. Simple. And yet, so perfect.”

Need an amazing idea for a larger group of friends?! How about the Descendants! I love this idea because there are so many different costume ideas! Alex Welch (@therealalexwelch) and 8 other friends nailed this look in Disneyland!
14. Mary Poppins
It’s… supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Mary Poppins has never looked cuter, am I right?! Lauren Childers perfectly impersonated this British Nanny with the classic Mary Poppins look!
