Murals in South End:
Confetti Heart Wall
1920 Camden Rd, Charlotte, NC 28203
This was the wall that started it all! This beautiful wall was painted by Evelyn Henson back in 2018. It has since become an iconic wall in Charlotte and one of the Best Instagram Walls in South End! The wall is sprinkled with colorful hearts and one heart that simply states: BE KIND.
Location: It’s near Jeni’s Ice Cream in the Design District of South End.
Charlotte Skyline
2300 Dunavant St, Charlotte, NC 28203
I am in love with this pastel skyline mural of the Queen City! It is such a beautiful representation of this stunning city!
Location: This mural is on the side of Functional Fit in South End over the parking lot – try to visit early in the morning to avoid lots of cars in your picture.
King of Pops Wall Mural
2500 Dunavant St, Charlotte, NC 28203
This mural is on the smaller side and it is sometimes blocked by cars packed in the ice cream lot. But, it’s still a cute and colorful wall mural – especially for pups and smaller children.
Location: The front of the King of Pops Ice Cream shop – within walking distance of the Charlotte Skyline wall.
Krispy Kreme Donut Wall

If there is anything you need to know about me it is that I LOVE donuts. This donut wall mural was basically made for me! When Krispy Kreme moved their corporate headquarters to Charlotte, NC they opened a shop in South End that includes a Donut ATM and a Donut Wall Mural! Note that the donut designs are inspired by Charlotte, NC!
Honestly, out of all the best Instagram walls in South End, this might be my favorite! 🙂
Location: This is on the very back side of the Krispy Kreme shop (across from Pins bar).
North Carolina State mural

I love this mural because it is a perfect representation of this state – vibrant and fun! It’s one of the lesser photographed murals here in Charlotte, and I simply can’t understand why! It’s probably one of my favorites!
Location: The address above will take you to the Wells Fargo bank that is located next to this mural. Walk down South Blvd (towards the Beijing Chinese Restaurant) until you’re directly across from the Concerta Urgent Care, and you’ll see it! 🙂
Max and Lola Bodega
1501 S Mint St, Charlotte, NC 28203
Angel wings for all! This mural includes adult, kid, and dog friendly wings painted on the wall. Above the wings, you will find a skyline painting of Charlotte.
Location: Located on the side of 1501 South Mint Bar in the parking lot.
Peace Sign Wall at Flower Child
1537 Camden Rd, Charlotte, NC 28203
Flower Child is a hip new restaurant that channels the 60s and 70s. This peace sign mural outside is the perfect backdrop for a fun instagram picture.

Magic Carpet

The Rail Trail is a pathway along the Lightrail in Charlotte, NC. Along the Rail Trail, you can find two painted “Magic Carpets”.

This wall is brand new and part of a new apartment complex! There is even a fun swing in front.

Geo Pattern Stairs

This mural is unique because its not painted onto a wall like most of the other ones! This one is painted on two sets of stairs and provides a fun colorful backdrop!
Location: On the backside of the Dressler’s Restaurant, near the walking trails.

This mural is brand new and technically on the outskirts of South End – more towards the Selwyn/Montford neighborhood. I love how cute and dainty this mural is with a rainbow and star pattern!
Location: This mural is directly next to the Freecoat Nails salon. You can’t miss it!
